FLM only accept guarantors who are home owners. They can't stop the house sale but can place a charging order on the property pretty easily now the loan is in arrears.
The guarantor will have some paperwork of their own. I suggest reading through that carefully to see what obligations they might have with regards to selling their property. For instance, do they need to inform FLM of a change in their status to non home owning guarantor?
