Remortgage advice.

Hi, I am attempting to remortgage, can anybody tell me if you are required to disclose your credit card debts in your application. These debts will be cleared within the next few months and I don't want them effecting my chances when applying. Basically my question is; if you do not declare credit card balances, are they picked up by the credit referencing checks?

1) Yes you do have to declare them
2) There is normally a box that says you will clear them before the mortgage completes
3) Yes they will be picked up on your credit file

If you are going to clear them, there is no point in not telling them
