Just wanted to say Payplan are so nice

Hi
Me again!
Just wanted to say if anyone worrying like me about phoning Payplan for advice don't be.
I filled in their email advice contact thing this morning cos I felt too sick and scared and guilty to ring them up.
and a lady phoned me back a couple of hrs later. I was sooooo nervous of what she would think of me but have got to say she was absolutly lovely and friendly and NOT shocked! and listened to me ramble on for ages and she wasn't hurried at all.
Even though they couldn't help me as such as they, like everyone else, has said BR is the way forward, I just thought Id post this so that anyone putting off phoning/ emailing them for advice or help might not feel so bad and might actually do it ;)

  • I must agree. They advised DMP for me and BR for my wife. They went thorough everything and made sure she had no worthwhile assetts (apart from me He He!!!!) before advising bankrutcy. Told me that an BRO is very unlikely and explained why. Unfortunatly my debt consultant is on holiday at the moment so I can't speak to him regarding paying something to my creditors . They are phoning me constantly. Shame for them though that I don't answer the phone to withheld numbers, because my mother in laws number is withheld!!! For now I have just unplugged the phone til I speak to him next week. So if you work for MBNA, NATWEST, MINT etc etc and you are tryng to phone me from you call centre please be advised to go to the next person in your list:rotfl:
  • Payplan are amazing.

I worked out my monthly 'surplus' with them a few months back. However this changed literally this month, about one week before my first payment was to be made as my lodger moved out, so I had to increase my monthly household contributions.

I was really really fretting telling them, but I picked up the courage to yesterday (I had this image of them having a go at me, because I was trying to diddle them or something) and they were really understanding and lovely.

If anyone here works for Payplan then you're top people
