Can I get Mortgage if I have settled my DMP

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help with this (sorry if something similiar has been posted before)
I had a DMP for 3 or 4 years, and in December, I came into some money and paid my £17,500 that was outstanding on my DMP, albeit some of my creditors agreed to a lower settlement figure (about £2000) less than what was outstanding altogether.
The problem is, Myself and my partner are now looking at moving house, as now my debts are paid, we can afford to up our mortgage payments slightly (I am not on our current mortgage). I wonder if anyone has been granted a mortgage shortly after completing a DMP, and expecially as I have settled all the accounts, which apparently now shows on my credit file. I understand that I will have an adverse rating for up to six years, but would they consider that i have paid them of?
Sorry if its long winded and confusing, but i confuse myself sometimes
Thanks
