Hi guys,
I just wanted to let you all know that I have been online this morning and filled out a form for the CCCS and they have come back to me to advise that I do not need to go onto a Debt Management Plan as long as my OH helps with the payments which we have talked about and he has agreed to help out as much as he can which is great news, they have worked out a payment plan for us to keep on track of the payments that we have. My OH and I have sat down together and worked out a monthly expenditure budget which we have on our fridge and hopefully we will stick to it as religously as we have been this week.
Some money saving things we have done this week include,
Talking to Telewest about our Broadband/TV/ Phone package and reducing it from £35 a month to £19 a month,
Switching our gas and electricity saving approx £13 a month,
We did our weekly shop in Lidl on Tuesday and we got enough food to last around 2 weeks and it came to £35 as opposed to the normal £50roughly
And to top it all of instead of paying a fortune for us to have some fireworks in our garden as usual we are going to a display on saturday night spending £4 each as opposed to near on £50 that it ususal cost So all in all a very positive start to the weekend to which I OWE IT ALL TO YOU GUYS OUT THERE SO THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU..... I know i am not done by any means and I mean to be continually on here for more support and encorougment from you

Not sure relaly but according to the snowball calculator April 2011.
Can I ask, how do I adapt my thread so I have a signature at the bottom everytime I post a reply so I can list my debt/lightbulb moment and debt free date...I'm a bit dumb when it comes to that kind of thing ? x0 -
