Will I get into an argument at Boots?

I am off to have my eyes tested this afternoon. On the Boots website there is a voucher for a £5 eye test. In small print it says valid until 31/3/2011. When I click on it to print the voucher, it says valid until 31/12/2010.

When I booked I said I had a voucher. The woman said "make sure it is valid". I said there is an error with the voucher on the website and explained the above.

I have decided to print the page saying 31/03/2011 and take that with me too. But will they get all stroppy with me?

They should not get stroppy with you, it's their mistake at the end of the day, not yours. Plus you are taking it in writing that the offer is still valid. Hope it works..

Their error so you would hope they would honour the extended validity period. Plus, if it's on the website then they could even log on and have a look whilst you're there if they quibble.
  • I keep getting free eye test vouchers posted through to me.....but I live in Scotland and all eye tests are free anyway.
