Finished the last of my £10. Had to buy cakes (£6.20) as it's my birthday tomorrow.
I'm shopping tonight to stock up on food for weeekend as I have lots of visitors. Then I'll be spending a fortune at the pub tomorrow night. Should be back on track on Monday though!OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090 -
update - my day took a turn for the worse.. knew I would be heading to the pub at lunchtime so went and bought a 'cheapie' sandwich from the work canteen. Handwriting on the front was appalling and I assumed it said coleslaw and chicken so spent my £1.65 and brought it back to my desk - bit into it to discover it was, in fact, coleslaw and cucumberdevils_nose wrote:So far, so good.. the parking meter is broken so it credited me with having paid AND gave me my £2 back AND I found a futher £2 in the machine from where it has obviously done the same to someone else that didn't notice!
That is 2 days of free parking next week (or lunch, since I forgot mine today)
who in their right mind would eat such a weird sandwich, it tasted like eating just mayonaise on bread - yuck!! So I had to go out and buy a portion of chicken from a sandwich shop to rescue the darn thing and that cost me a further £1.50. My most expensive sandwich to date - and it was still 'orrid
I did get bought a drink at the pub though

Hi Moozie - I hope they didn't have to amputate! The toe I mean.
I plan a no-spend day today and tomorrow. But I did spend £5.16 on some roll-up tobacco yesterday.
Didn't spend much on Wednesday as the chap I was seeing about a job, paid me for my diesel, and bought me a good dinner Wednesday Night:D
The job discussion went quite well, and I should know in about a week, if he can do something for me.
Yesterday - not such a good day. Had to go to a funeral (my wife's best friend) in the afternoon, then to visit my dad in hospital (Prostate operation) - fortunately he is recovering well and surgeon happy with results. Had to spend £20.00 on a Chinese Take-away (not too bad for 5 people though).
Cheers.

Hope the toe is ok Moozie!
No spend day today. Was going to go out to buy some new kettle plugs for a computer, but raked around the house and found some spares lying around, so didn't have to

Nothing
Might be £2 to go and see some fireworks later but might wait and see Sunday's free show at the beach. £2 would be worth it though, matter of the heart
