Ombudsman tsb complaint

Hi,

I have a complaint lodged with the ombudsman about tsb. I have been discussing today with the adjudicator for the complaint.

The complaint was sent in September but was covering account charges and an issue with the loan account. I was then informed that the 2 issues would be split and reviewed as two complaints.

I have been informed that TSB have been asked on two occations - 4th and 18th November 2010 to submit their evidence for this complaint. The ombudsman I have been told are still awaiting for this information.

I was wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar with any complaint in particular with TSB?

Cheers
Martin

had a complaint with TSB last year, was about them transferring money out my account for standing order over what i stated, on one occasion they paid the amount twice in the space of 2 weeks, they said it was then upto me to contact the payee for a refund, i complained to ombudsman and after 4 weeks i got a call from TSB asking what my complaint was about, they took details then 3 weeks later got letter from TSB stating they were standing by the decision, wrote again to ombudsman, 6 weeks later i got letter from them saying they were not taking any action and was upholding TSB actions. i spoke to the payee and told them that the funds they received should be for 2 seperate payments and not to refund the money(with they sorted with no problem) i then closed my account with TSB.
  • So the ombudsman found against you - what is your point now?

This about the loan account. I contacted them in May 2010 about extending the payment plan I had on the account and they agreed to do this. Then in early June around the 9th I received a letter of legal intent from them advising to contact them and pay the full amount. This was further compounded by them passing the account to their collections dept and not taking payments for 3 months which I wasn't aware of.

My issue is that I want to know why they sent out a letter from their solicitors - which I now find are in the same group as them. They havent commented on this and they havent sent any information to the ombudsman when the ombudsman have contacted them twice in November.

Has anyone had another issues with this? With anyone or TSB?

think his point is clearly that tsb once again show total lack of regard for customers and charged him a higher amount which has consequences for his overdraft and possibly incurring charges and also on his disposable income for the rest of the month. This is then compounded by there arrogance by telling the CUSTOMER to sort out their mess in contacting the company concerned.
