How do I get a ticket?
Tickets are free and available for collection only from MONDAY 10th JANUARY 2011. Please only collect tickets if you are sure you are able to attend.
If you are aged 11-19 you can collect your free tickets from one of the local outlets listed below. PLEASE NOTE TICKETS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS. We’ve listed when you can collect them in the last column on the table below. We’re sorry but you can’t reserve tickets anywhere by phone. Tickets are limited to 3 per person and you must give your postcode and a mobile phone number on collection so we can keep in touch with you with up to date details of the event. Your details will not be given to anyone else or used for any other purpose under any circumstances. You’ll need to prove your age to collect your tickets. Tickets can’t be collected on your behalf by an adult, sold on to anyone else or be used by people older than 19 or younger than 11. If you need a wheelchair space please call us on 0191 261 4029.
What about adults?
This event has been organised by young people for young people with as many tickets as possible being made available to young people themselves. We do realise that some young people may need adult support to attend because of their age or other needs, so we do have a small number of adult tickets available. These tickets are also free and are available on a first come first served basis. They are intended for adults bringing parties of young people or those with specific support needs. Please note that apart from Keyfund staff and guests, unaccompanied adults will not be admitted to the event. Adult tickets can only be collected by an adult. Only one ticket per adult is available.
How do I get to the City Hall?
Keyfund is delighted that Go North East are supporting Winter Extravaganza by offering free travel across their bus network on 22nd January to all young people registering for a free Get Around Key card before 18th January 2011.
Keyfund is providing limited free coach transport to and from the event from certain North East locations.
