Hi
I have never been notified of a win by email before, just wondering does it make it clear by the titke of the mail that its a win?
Was just checking this as i get a lot of junk mail so tend to delete without opening!

Not always but you'll know with your compers instinctSECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

The short answer is no! I almost missed the holiday of a lifetime like this and only did not because the company rang me. I had deleted two emails. I now open and look at most and although it's a chore it's worth it. hthMAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0

:oBlimey, I had better start checking them, I always delete them unless I see congratulations or something similar!0

In Windows Live Mail, I've set up a rule that instantly moves and highlights a post with either the word 'winner' or 'congratulations' in the title of the email to a separate folder entitled "WINS". I've only ever had one other email win that didn't have either of these words in the title and I caught that one when having a quick scroll through.
My wins (or lack of them nowadays) seem to come from an individual person so usually they're nice and easy to pick out from all the group newsletters.11th Heaven prizes Number 103

When i won an ipad just before christmas i had a email which said in the subject "that ipad competition". My curiosity made me think that sounds interesting so i opened it, the content said i was a lucky winner and they wanted to confirm my address to send the prize.
The wem i had yesterday from NOWT said in the subject box 'Congratulations your a winner'
I definatly agree that you will know a wem when you see one, especially as you are looking out for them!!

They're not all easy to spot and in spite of what previous posters have said you will NOT always know when an email is a winning one. I lost out on a £650 pair of headphones because the emails that they sent gave no indication of what was inside. I receive hundreds of emails a day and have filters to pick out certain words, my lost prize was missed by that too because the words searched for (winner, congratulations) were not used.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams
