ceilidh band cost & thoughts?

  • Hi everyone

Thank you so much for your replies. I still love the idea of this, but unfortunately my H2B doesn't :-( I think he would change his mind if we went to a ceilidh together as he'd see how it works, but I don't think that's going to happen before the wedding. Good luck to all you brides-to-be - I'm sure your ceilidhs will bring the house down at your wedding! x

You should definitely get him along to one - they are so much fun and really work well at weddings as they get everyone dancing - regardless of age and musical preferences! Ours is costing £535 for a three-piece band and caller and we can't wait. Hope you get everything sorted to your liking :)
  • I noticed this thread and thought I would take the chance to plug my own ceilidh band here! haha - We have played all over the UK and beyond and would be a great band for any wedding - we have played countless weddings before whether playing as the band all night or else playing a couple of hours pre-DJ. Check out our website on www . wulliefraser . com (doesn't like me putting a link in here but remove the gaps and you will get the website!) and get in touch if you are interested! Wullie
