recieved my order today, and very impressed with the contents. An excellent bargin. Do not think I would have paid the rrp for them though :eek:. wont need them till June, just hope I can remember where I have stored them by then!

I don't think anyone would ever contemplate paying the RRP, but I'm just gobsmacked that so many are hung up on the quoted RRP. If you think 10 books alone amount to an RRP of £49.90 and then add on the party banners, balloons, party bags, activity books, that soon totals up - but in reality, none of it would ever be sold for this price.
That's the thing though if you look at the RRP for most books, especially those from the Book People, it would be highly unlikely that anyone would pay those over inflated prices.
So for me, it's not about the RRP, it's about having a bit of common sense about the true value of what you're buying and the actual price you pay - that's the true saving.
There is no doubt these boxes are amazing value.0 -

What were you missing? My boxes all LOOK complete, but I havent checked in detail0 -
I had 4 boxes.I used for my oldest birthday party last week(its was completed).On sunday my friend wanted to see box,i opened for her new one and inside were missing bunting,pensils.I opened 2 remaining boxes.One was completed,another were missing bunting and pencils.dreamteamgirl wrote: »What were you missing?
