Car Leasing

i have used lings cars ( just google) and have leased several cars over the years lings website may be a little mad but she is very very good and also http://www.smartlease.co.uk/
if you want a new car hassel free complete with the warrenty every 3 years then its great way to do this without put a large amount of money down up front
you generally put down 3 months rental amount so if its 180 a month then its that amount times 3 ( thats what i was paying for a mazda mx5)
you normally get around 10,000 miles a year but you can pay more to have more milage
you get the tax for the car sent to you in the post every year
you can get optional maintance packages but ive never done this
your responsible for generally servicing the car but you dont have to go to the main dealer and tyres as well and insuring it
at the end of the period normally 2-3 years you hand the car back and decide if you want another one
dont go for more than 3 years as the warrenty is then out and you can then be responsible for work that the car need ect and it defeats the object of hassel free motoring
ways to keep the price down is not to be overly fussy what i mean is have a few cars in mind various colours spec ect that way you dont get your head set on a particular car -colour ect which can bump up the price
always check that its personal leasing that you are doing not the ones that have the option to buy at the end ( cant think what that is called) and it includes the vat some prices look really good untill you look at the price inc vat
downside its not yours but its hassel free - never had a problem so far and have been leasing since 2005 even written of a audi tt 09 plates last month in november and had no problems
insurance company paid of the balance of the finance and i got the difference of what the car was worth so got a nice cheque
only problems ive had in the past is with the mazda when sending the car back lombard in particular are notorious for trying to screw you for wear and tear a and stuff that not even there ) not much they can do about a write off though:D0 -
I second the recommendation for Mad Ling at Lings Cars. She's occasionally on here helping people too.The man without a signature.0

I can see the financial advantages for the right person when it comes to leasing, but I still like to own my car after a few years, not just get a new one.
However, for the right person they are a geat idea.
Had a quick look at Lings site, prices seem competitive but sorry to say the site is a bit fussy for my tastes. Not having a pop, just a bit of constructive criticism.0 -
are you allowed to buy the car at the end of the lease
my friend lease hires a porsche and pays around £1000 a month but will he never own it seems like a large waste of money0 -
Just requested a quote for an Alfa.
Thanks Ling0 -
