'benfits in kind' tax from my company expenses

  • Don't most companies get a dispensation set up, so no expenses appear on a P11d? My last employer was small and also had this.
  • I called my companies account last week. I was told that they would of sent an S336 with the details to the tax office, but since my company sent the P11D through to early, it didn't happen. They sent through the S336 form to me via email, I contacted the tax office again & told them that I was sending the S336 for & that these expenses were solely for the purpose of business & was required for me to function in my job. I then sent the S336 form off along with a covering letter in the post. The tax office stated it would take up to 1 month to action my request. The S336 form is just a doc containing a reference to the S336 act, personal & company details & a break down of said expenses e.g travel, accommodation.
