Boots Electricals instore - any good?
Cheeez
I'm looking to get an iPod and boots have got a good instore offer for 10% off. Couple questions:
1. Do most large Boots stores carry iPods?
2. What are Boots like with returns of electrical items?
Cheers

I think most larger stores should have stock in the run up to xmas. Mine only had the old versions out (in the locked glass cabinets) but when I asked they had new generation 2, 4 and 8GB models out back, which they happily went to get for me.
If you can wait they often have special event evenings which offer incentives. When I bought mine it was 1000 boots points for every £50 spent, along with double points (excluding bonus). This meant that a £99 2GB Ipod plus odds and sods to take total over £100 cost me £100 in cash but I then received 2000 bonus points and 800 normal (doubled) points, which amount to a £28 spend in store. Assuming you were going to spend this anyway the 'net' price of the Ipod falls to £71. Not sure how your 10% voucher affects this but if you ask on the boots thread on Grabbit someone will probably know.
Also I have never had an issue with refunds - they even refund items bought online.0 -
