Thanks for condensing them as there were a few on there I hadn't got ;)

I updated an order today that is due for delivery tomorrow (to use a voucher that expires tomorrow) but it seems they have decided to use a different voucher as that one is still in my "bank" and I've missed the chance to use it now cos all tomorrow's delivery slots have gone :(

Do they automatically use the one that gives you the most savings off your shopping rather than in date order? If you go back to update an order you don't get the option of changing voucher/payment details as they use the ones originally input

Tesco.com "claim" to use the voucher first that gives you the biggest saving. However, I've found this often not to be the case and think they use them in date order.:(

Someone posted on this forum a while back that they queried this with Tesco when they deducted a £50 evoucher rather than a £10 one. Apparently Tesco then put this right, so worth getting in touch with them.

    Hope this helps.

    I assume you meant £5 not £50 above ;)

I always make sure my shopping comes to at least £50 (or £75 if I have a £10 voucher to use, although a couple have come off £50 shopping before) but this voucher that expires tomorrow is an odd one for £7 off. I can't remember what the min spend for that was but assume that as I'd already basketed £50 worth of shopping and booked delivery for tomorrow that it must have worked when I originally checked out.

Just decided to call them to check which voucher they'd used and they've taken a £10 one off instead (against a £50 order) so it looks like I've lost the £7 voucher :(

LOL, yes ... £5 of course, or don't think they'd complain. I've also missed out on the £7 one due to having a few expiring on the same date. Bound to happen occasionally I suppose.

That's got to be worth a complaint, if they swapped one for another then you should still have the first to use.

...So I've not missed any yet then ;)

Don't really see how you can complain about this as expiry dates are given for each code. We don't want Tesco to think we're being too greedy by having loads of codes banked (even if we have:D ).
