I didn't know it had opened - but will have to take a trip out now! Was a bit stung at the one at Gretna during the summer though. Got my kids polo shirts for school 1 @ £2.50 and the other £3. They had a zip neck and nice lycra material. When I went into local M&S in EK they were £5 for a pack of two - so no saving at all.

  • There is one at McArthur Glen, it's a bit hit and miss whats on offer but usually underwear and toiletries are always great offers.

Next to The Forge shopping centre at Parkhead. The M & S Outlet opens on 9 November.

I'd heard this rumour but didn't believe it!!! The Retail Park's just a 10 minute walk from me so I'll be going to check that out for sure. If you don't know where the Forge Retail Park is it's in the East End on the Gallowgate and opposite Celtic Park.
    :hello: :hello: :hello:
  • yeah i saw it last night...big sign that says opening 9th november! I will be popping in for a nosy!

I went to the M&S outlet at Cheshire Oaks a few weeks ago. Hadn't been for a few years.

The bargains were not as good as they used to be. Certainly the prices were not as keen as the local in-store end-of-season sales a few months ago. Maybe the factory outlets are better at these times too.

I have been to the one near Tynemouth and there is Next outlet place there too. It would appear that a lot of stuff is made now specifically for these outlets and the bargains are not what they were in times past. I must admit I wouldn't make a special trip to go to one anymore because of this.
