I'm not sure if this is the right place....sorry if it isn't!
I've been self-employed for 7 years, and thoughout that period I've been voluntaril paying Class 2 NI payments by direct debit each month. Earlier this year, for various reasons, I needed to stop paying these, and I completed a form in order to do this. I didn't receive any confirmation from the NI people, but the direct debits stopped.
I now wish to start paying again, but I also want to change the account they are payed from. Does anyone know which form(s) I need to fill in? I cannot find anything on their website! They certainly don't make it easy...

There's some detail here on date changes for Class 2 ..... from April. And a link at the bottom which takes you through to the main DD page. You'll find a downloadable Mandate form there? Which you'll need to complete as the old mandate won't be any good :-

I'm somewhat confused by your post......Class 2 contributions aren't voluntary for the self-employed, unless your profits are below the lower earnings limit.0
-
Voluntary on the basis that I'd been paying them at points when I was earning lower than the threshold.0

Have you got your small earnings certificate? if you want to start paying again, send that back, and if you want to pay by dd, you can ask the HMRC to send you a form. If you're not sure about anything on their website, give them a ring.!0
