Yeah I took the account out online. Basically ndr are chasing for the money and won't play ball with my offer of repayment, I am in a load of debt, tesco loan 4500, 2k barcllaycard, 2k to wonga, 600 to quickquid, 1200 overdraft on my old bank account, already payin moorcroft debt recovery 30 a month because I owe them 800. So yeah its basically the usual bleak picture credit cards payday loans etc etc but I have taken a grip of it of late . New bank account offering payments to all my debts but since ndr are playin hardball I had read about cca request and possibly avoiding this debt if you will, I kno its not exactly ideal or even right but as you can see I have a lot of debts already, this one is 800 aswell so not exactly small fry
Hi Messidebt
Are you aware that NDR are the same company as Shop Direct (Very)? They are just their in-house collections department dressed up to make them look more official.
I am in the same position myself with them but am just playing hardball back, which is I am refusing to agree to pay anything more than I can afford. So one of three things are going to happen:
1) They will eventually accept my payments after slapping months of late payment charges on the accounts
2) They will pass the debt onto an external DCA and then the negotiations can start again
3) They will take me to court
If you are managing your other debts and its only NDR who are rejecting your payment plan then personally I would keep plugging away with them until one of the above happen.
In the context of your overall debt its actually a 'small' amount and therefore even if it did get to court you could show them to be being unreasonable especially if your other creditors are helping you.
