Advice needed please - still havent received prize!!

I hope this is under the correct forum....

I received a WEM on the 6th December advising i had won a prize, further to that i had a few phone calls and one with the company who were supplying the prize. Since then i have chased up a few times and the last i have heard was an answerphone message on xmas eve advising they would be in touch early jan and sorry but they had been busy. Is there anything i can do to hurry this up? i have been very patient but now i am starting to get annoyed, i know i should be grateful and i am but at the end of the day they were the ones who contacted me a month ago!!

You usually wait 28 days after being informed of your prize, as there's been christmas and bank holiday's I'd wait a bit longer before actually doing anything.

Totally agree...think you have to allow the 28 days plus at least another 7/10 to allow for the Xmas holidays....

Yeah understandable with xmas etc, the only thing is i am picking the prize up from a local store and when i spoke to the company before xmas they advised they wanted me to go in the week after that to have photo took etc and pick up prize. After i had heard nothing from them until i chased again and got an answerphone message advising they were busy etc, they also mentioned they were arranging for me to go down the beginning of jan to pick up prize..... i just feel like im getting fobbed off. I sent them another email this morning....
