I have a UK website https://www.crestwhitestrips.co.uk which technically sells illegal :eek: teeth whitening kits as they breach the EU 0.1% hydrogen peroxide levels. This law should change this year to 6%hp at some point, but for dentists only. Currently all sellers including dentists are illegal but nobody has been prosecuted for obvious reasons. We have been in business since May 2005. We also sell in parts of europe, australia and new zealand where it is legal as in America. If close the UK business and open an american or australian business with a resident of that country what happens if say a UK member of the public buys off my website and the product is delivered to that person from 'uk stock;. As i am a company outside the UK can i be prosecuted? Today many companies outside the UK sell teeth whitening kits into the EU. Finally, Google can prevent advertising of these products as they breach the law, which is fair enough, however they can only ban the adds, google cant prosecute a company can they? Sorry its complicated and time is of the essence I look forward to your reply with interest. steve douglas

Maybe this is a spam site so all this is irrelevant. But if genuine, what we don't know is if the law has been changed - this was posted over 6 months ago, so I was basically mentioning it so everyone is aware of the strength and to be careful. Many people worldwide seem to use this - google and you will see.

I personally wouldn't touch any whiteners with a barge pole - but I have veneers and I think they can be really damaged. I think that's why it's best to leave it to dentists who know what they are doing.

I received my sample this morning as well. Dont see the problem with that, those have been on sale in Canada for a few years now, no problem with these... Do not see at all what the fuss is about.
