VERY BAD NEXT CUSTOMER SERVICE...advise needed please

I very luckily got a next vip slot and ordered more than £1000 of items. Some has arrived and some on delay but i ordered a moses basket and when my parcel arrived it was 30 cms big and it contained chrome love hearts so i rang them and they acknowledged that a mistake had been made in picking the item but now out of stock. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and left the matter. A few days ago a pair of hubbys shoes arrived with the stitching loose. Again i called them and was told item out of stock . Then yesterday i received my dd coat which had 3 great big holes in it, a little girls name sewn onto the tag and a sweet wrapper in the pocket. I was shocked and appalled. I phoned next and explained the situation...again the item is slod out and i can buy a new coat from the current directory at 15% discount. I think this is appaling but is there anything more i can do as i am very angry. Sorry for the long moan but any advise would be greatly appreciated.

  • I didnt get all my Next order either, people can and do make mistakes when picking an order. I lost out on a laundry basket that Next said they had despatched but it never arrived. They credited my account, I moved on. Remember, it is sale stock so most of it wil be sold out now. I still have items outstanding that they have yet to send, I very much doubt if I will get them now. I would take the offer of 15% and get your daughter her new coat. Try not to worry about it too much, it is a sale after all. I hope they managed to get the rest of it to you ok.

    I just found out that 10 of my sale order items were delivered to the wrong person and returned to Next. They then don't forward them on! No they just leave it and wait for you to notice the items haven't been delivered and contact them. :mad: The items were just removed from my account. Finally found this information out despite a number of phone calls to next to find out whats going on (each other call ended with me being fobbed off about needing to wait for the courier company to call me).
    But to be fair to Next they are allowing me to order like for like items and they will honour the 50% discount! :T

    I would phone Next again and complain! You are obviously a loyal customer with the size of that sale order! Being sent an obviously used coat is disgusting. If you get no joy, ask to speak to a customer services manager. If no joy again threaten to go into a store on a busy Saturday afternoon to complain loudly face to face with a manager!
