resignation letter

Hi all,
I currently work part time and my job role has changed a lot. Since the change I am not happy as I feel stressed all the time. As I have to deal with customer shouting at me for things that are not my fault, as well as working in bad conditions.
I feel that I am not proving the customer the best service I can. And I don’t get any support from mangers that allow me to provide the customer the best service as there is no staff.
So now I really want leave the company as I don’t like working there anymore and feel its time to move on ASAP.
I was reading online about resignation letter and some said you should not tell the company why you are leaving and should keep it straight to the point.
I also would like to leave without any notice as it’s that bad there I just want get out.
Any suggestion for writing a resignation letter
Many thanks

how much notice does your contract ask you to give, if you don't do the notice then techincally you could be sued for breach of contract but it is not that likely but not a risk I'd take.
Just keep the resignation letter simple and don't burn bridges because you never know you may decide to go back or need them for referances etcThe Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

I agree about thinking carefully before burning bridges.
As stated, is is theoretically possible to be sued for breach of contract if you leave without notice. However, this in very very rare with "normal" jobs. Also, the firm would have to show that they had suffered an actual loss after making all reasonable efforts to minimise it. Obviously they would be saving your salary.
What sometime happens is that the leaving employee finds it hard to get paid what they are owed. The firm have no legal right not to pay but sometimes take the attitude of you sue us, we'll sue you!
Best to negotiate if possible.0 -
I dont know what my contracts says but I guess with most companies its 4 weeks but I dont know if that applies to me as i only work part time saturday and sunday. And I know I should not burn bridges however I work in retail at the moment and just got my degree so dont plan to go back to retail. I haev also seen this template http://www.i-resign.com/inc_images/images/waiverletter.gif what do you think ?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
