Want a cheap laptop?

I happend to stumble accross this while looking for a cheap laptop

seems to change daily, I got myself a nice decent spec Acer for £280 inc Vat and Delivery.

This morning there was a Toshiba Sat Pro which worked out at £250. These are open box but new, mine was in superb condition, even the packing. I reckon I saved a good £150 from the new price!

(Inmac are actually part of the Dixons / PC World Group) but dont let that put you off!

Those prices don't include VAT ...

Yes, but for instance the toshiba there this morning was £209 ex vat . add the vat = £245. Thats a superb price for a brand new Toshiba Laptop, i should know i've bought plenty of them.

If you check regularly in the morning there are quite often some great deals on there.

Can anybody find an actual address on their website? DH used to work for Dixons group and he has never heard of them.

What would be a good laptop -would be just used for word processing and internet? Less than £300?

they are part of DSG, Just cause hes not heard doesnt mean there not !

Acer Aspire 3503WLMi example with 512MB mamory - £300 + VAT and missing Documentation. Pity the prices aren't just a bit lower!

Anyway, avoid buying any laptop with less than 512MB, seems cheap but a false economy.

the trick is to check it in the mornings. i've been looking quite regularly since getting mine and there seems to be one or two good ones each day or so which tend to be gone by mid morning.

I got an acer travel mate, 1.5ghz cpu , 15" Wide screen, CD/DVD , 760mb Ram 60gb HDD, Win XP Pro , wireless boxed and in perfect condition for only £280inc Vat

The Toshiba L20 on there this morning which worked out at £250 inc vat was an absolute steal. I nearly bought it myself to sell on ebay!!!
