NI Craft Fairs 2011

I have my insurance with NMTF, National Market Traders Federation but it is way more per year than Fiona's tip above!

Personally I think you should protect yourself with adequate insurance before going out to sell anything, but it is personal choice, and I am not going down that route again from last year girls!!!!!!

We all have to be pretty inventive for stands for our own displays, so it is just a matter of keep looking around for something you could use. If you want to spend serious money on a stand, try Alan Lewis Displays on the Prince Regent Road in Belfast.

Some markets insist on Market Traders Insurance and the National Trust also look for insurance, but I think the NT can offer you blanket cover at their events for a fee.

i sent out about 20 letters this week to schools in ballymoney/portrush/portstewart and coleraine to try and find some new fairs so hopefully will be able to pass them on to some of you (will pm!!!)

Regent house is 10am - 2pm, it dosen't say anything about set up times on the form but I am guessing they will be there from around 8 or 8.30

Thanks Smokiewater for your reply. Unforuately I am new to this forum and haven't quite mastered all the reply options. My question was intended to be related specifically to the Ballymena Craft Fair in the Tower Centre rather than a general question!!! Sorry for sounding so pathetic :-(
