hi im looking to change jobs im a home carer but would really like to work in a hospital care assistant etc ive look on nhs job site and carnt find any jobs going ive also looked and jobs today etc has anyone got any more tips on where else to look? thanks in advance

How about signing up to the 'bank' at your local hospital (or whichever one you would ideally like to work at), otherwise known as their flexible staffing service.
You would probably need to do a induction to the Trust and a health and safety type study day before you could work a shift and have CRB checked by them etc. But then if they are short staffed you could see if there was a shift you could do alongside your current job until there are vacancies. If you get your foot in the door so to speak you'd probably get heads up on when a job was coming up, and experience in that particular environment would put you at an advantage.

also check agencies that specialise in health jobs, and/or ask any of the contractors that you may see at local hosp..?

There are several Healthcare Assistant or similar jobs listed in Northampton, Milton Keynes and Kettering, all of which have come up as being within 20 miles of Wellingborough. Maybe you just need to widen your search a bit?
