Delivery costs?

Options
I ordered a t-shirt & a pair of earrings in the Debenhams sale, but both things were posted seperately therefore I paid £3.99 twice for delivery - so the earrings are now costing £8.99 instead of £5.00. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about it or if it is legal for companies to do this, considering both things were ordered together?

If you ordered them together then surely you only paid one lot of postage, they often send things out in different parcels but you don't get charged twice, are you sure you have been charged twice ?
  • Yes I'm sure they have charged twice. If I send the item back I still will not get the delivery refunded, so I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Call them ,I am sure they will sort it.

If you no longer want the items you have 7 days to return them for a full refund (inc P+P) under the distance selling regs. You need to tell Debenhams first though.

Did you read the T&C's before ordering? Usually situations like this are specified either way.

7 WORKING days beginning with the day after delivery, and you do not need to return them within the 7 days, just to inform them you want to cancel under DSR, there is no time limit in the DSR in relation to returning goods.
