nectar points spending glitch

Just before Christmas i cashed in 1000 points of my shopping as i had a balance of around 1200 points, unbeknown to me my parnter had done the same a few hours earlier.
Apparantely it takes nectar up to 36 hours to update, so i now have a -700 points balance on my account after yesterdays shop.
Might work out well for anyone with alot of points and 2 cards on a nectar account
Anyone else to shed any light on this ?
