Tax On Musicians

I am a part time musician playing in a corporate and wedding function band.
The money is ok, not brilliant but is a great source of extra income.
I havent been playing with them long, came on board with them just over the christmas period.
Problem i have is none of them pay tax as its all cash in hand, i've worked with bands before and usually done things as self employed session musician.
I dont really know how to approach this as the work is regular and i need the money, am happy to declare but afraid of dropping the rest of them in it.
feel like walking away from it but think i'll be cutting off my nose to spite my face if you get what i mean, any advice would be appreciated
thanks

How do you know they don't pay tax?
Keep yourself legit by declaring your income - what others do is up to them and on their own heads be it.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
i asked them what do they do as regards to taxing weather its taken out before i get paid and they do it themselfs or sort it out individually, they said they dont do it :-/0
