quick question about quidco

Options
hi there just looking to renew house insurance at the moment. If I go onto my quidco account and get a quote through say Churchill. they email me the quote with a link to retrieve my quote. will that definitely take me back to Churchill via quidco and ensure I get my cashback or will it just go back to chruchill? many thanks

Hi, don't use the cashback sites when you are searching for cheapest insurer just go through your normal browser. When you decide who to buy from apply through Quidco/Topcashback etc and get a new quote. If that is a good price buy it, DONT use an existing quote or you may not get the cashback-it has to be a new quote. As recommended by Quidco I always use a different browser ( firefox )to complete the purchase then the purchase will be attributed to Quidco and not one of the comparison sites. Remember that these comparison sites usually get commision for generating sales and you don't want them to get your cashback !! By searching for your best quote through Quidco you are building up links ( via cookies) to uncompleted transactions which is why it is recommended to delete all cookies/browsing history before starting your final quote/purchase.It is also wise to take a note of the time and date of the transaction in case you have to put in an earnings enquiry. If you have done all your searching through Quidco there could be many of these transactions showing up against your account and you will then know which to select for the enqury.

    Hi guys,

I have just sign up to Quidco today, so my knowledge is very basic.
I would like to book hotel via Quidco for me and my friend (2 rooms).
Can I book hotel for friend via my Quidco account, but use her credit card? She does not trust any cash back sites, but does not mind if I use mine.
    Best wins ever:
2012: Holiday to LA for 2 adults +2 kids for 4 days
    2013: £2 000 Virgin Holiday Voucher!
2014: $1000 spending money for hols
2015: 8 night holiday to Thailand

Sure - AFAIK they offer affilate commission for the sale, whomever's card is used :)

Hi misa, the only details you eventually put into the cashback site are your bank details so that they can pay you your cashback. When you buy after clicking through from a link on a cashback site your credit card details are actually going to the secure server of the hotel/booking agent you are using e.g. superbreaks/expedia etc.
The cashback site do not even know your address.
