Groupon - Giving as a gift?

Options
Has anyone bought a voucher to give someone else as a gift?

I want to buy my sister something, but can she use it if the voucher is in my name?

The website states multiples can be bought as gifts... but how?

Any help?

I have a Groupon voucher here in front of me and there is no name on it just a reference number and security code which are to be quoted when redeeming the voucher so it can be used by anyone.

I actually bought a voucher from Groupon for my friend. It was a 50 pound voucher for a furniture store. All I know is that he used it and it worked, so you should be good.

I am amazed you got a reply from Groupon Customer Services. I bought a teeth whitening treatment and booked it. I then got a text to say the company had gone out of business and not to attend. a week later Groupon haven't replied to my emails. Thankfully i paid with paypal so am pursuing a claim. their Facebook page is a catalogue of complaints including vouchers bought as presents not having name changed (for some experiences it does need to be in the right name) and referral bonuses not being honoured.

It took about 4 weeks for a response from Groupon when i had a query. Once they did get in contact they were very quick in sorting it out and putting the money back on my card.
