Just had an email cancelling my order, but it was for curtains. lol
Anyone else heard anything??

"Dear Customer,

You recently placed an order for Montgomery curtains, unfortunately due to human error, an incorrect price was showing on our website, and as such we will be unable to fulfil your order. Your order has now been cancelled, and a full refund has been processed.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure mistakes like this do not happen, when they do our Terms and Conditions state we will correct the price and ask you to confirm whether you still wish to purchase the goods at the correct price.

The item is now available to purchase on our website, at the correct selling price, should you wish to replace your order.

We are sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.

Sorry to hear that Lynsey. I thought that once they had actually taken the money for something they could not legally rescind on the contract - whatever their T&Cs say! Could be worth checking with Trading Standards.

I too had this email so your not alone, except i made 2 orders, not just one so surely i should have two emails but only one, i emailed back asking why they are constantly messing about etc and why are they emailing me about some 'curtains' i haven't ordered.

Just a myth. They can refuse your order, there's no contract at this stage.

What was strange was none of the order numbers were quoted and obviously the "curtains" were never ordered anyway. lol

I also made two orders but only one email cancelling the "curtains".
