Turquoise Bridesmaid Dresses

I used www.styleshake.co.uk for my bridesmaids' dresses - you design your own, made to measure, in the fabric you want. I got mine to all choose the right neckline and skirt type for their body shapes, but all done in the same colour and fabric so they did look "together". There is an aqua shade in the silk fabric, a tiffany blue shade in the poly-silk, and a deep turquoise shade in the jersey.
The silk ones (the most expensive) are £71 a dress (if you add on big things like sashes or corsages it adds a few extra £) but there is a 10% discount if you tell them you are doing bridesmaids and order at least three dresses - they don't have to be the same as they are used to people doing it like I did. They'll send free swatches (just a couple of square inches) to have a look at if you want to see the exact colours and textures.
I thought they were great - the dresses they made were good, it was quick, and we had lots of fun designing them together and comparing designs.0 -

I'mabout to order another one lol.
They do all sorts of colours.
I too ordered dresses from this lady, I bought the simple and amazing ones in her shop (sorry not able to post a link) She was very helpful in finding the right colour, I wanted teal with an ivory sash and eventually we got the right colour. I recieved the dresses just before christmas so took 4-5 weeks, and I am soooooo happy with them, they are great and very well made. Not sure how to post pics but will give it a go if you want to see some[STRIKE]Getting married to[/STRIKE] Married my soul mate on

Hi m3ech,
I'm getting married in May and our colour scheme is also turquoise!
I was having a bit of a nightmare finding the right colour, material, (we're getting married on the beach in Greece so wanted something lightweight, not satin or taffeta etc).
Someone recommended shopstyle.co.uk so I typed in 'turquoise dress' and one came up from M&S, for £25! Went into the store and they were PERFECT, bright turquoise, jersey material and a bargain!
They were in the swimwear range as a beach dress, but they definitely don't look like a beach dress, in fact they look quite expensive, so I bought 5 for my bridesmaids and an extra dress to make straps out of it for all the dresses and they look great!
I've tried to find them so I can give you the link but I did get them in May last year so they're probably nowhere around, they might not even be your cup of tea but my advice is just look in EVERY shop, even shops you wouldn't normally look in.
I was looking in the usual bridal shops, Debenhams, BHS, Monsoon etc and couldn't find the colour.
Just got to find turquoise shoes and earrings for me now that don't cost the earth!
Good luck and keep looking!!

Oooh BrownBear - Those dresses sound perfect! I have been doing the same as you were... Looking in all the usual wedding departments, I hadn't even thought of looking at the more 'beachy' things... But it makes perfect sense!
I don't suppose you have any pics of the dresses? I'd love to see them!!
Thank you again ladies - you've all been such a massive help! If any of you happen to spot anymore turquoise dresses then please let me know!0
