is there any reason why you cant freeze it?

I freeze it all the time, its always tasted fine to me.
I also freeze it with berries mixed together and taste the same as does from fresh.

thanks for that, does it go gritty at all, I couldnt imagine why it wouldnt freeze, but then you have to whip double cream to freeze it.0

If you are using Double Cream for cooking (ie. putting in sauces) there is no need to whip it first before freezing.
