the big VAT panic

I'm of the opinion we wont see a huge jump in prices, and that some sale items may actually be cheaper once everyone's spent all the money in this big VAT panic.

Have to admit I am waiting for the after VAT rise sales - all this panic but all I want is a washing machine and a telly, and they are not urgent. All I would save on the washing machine would be about £6 and the telly £8, so I am not dashing out to buy them early. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
