I have combination skin and have used Liz Earle in the past which I really liked. I'm using an Avon one at the moment which is more of a creamy cleanser which I have found my skin is quite liking. In fact I'm sure I'd heard somewhere (maybe here) that creamy cleansers weren't so effective for combination skin but I find I prefer them to the gel type cleansers.
    Did owe £9,951.96

    Owe Virgin [STRIKE]£5,950.00 [/STRIKE]at 0% til June 2009 £3,427.89. Owe HSBC [STRIKE]£5,460.78 [/STRIKE]2.9% til May 2010 £3,703.07. Owe Post Office £1,676.62 at 0% til September 2010
  • Superdrug vitamin, currently 2 for £3, doesn't leave any greasy feel after use

Definitely Liz Earle if you're looking for a wash-off product, or Avene if you prefer to cold cleanse. I'm not sure what the Avene one is called, but it's the one aimed at sensitive skins. It's really effective and doesn't leave you dry or covered in a greasy film.
Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

    Home made... :)
a tablespoon of olive oil mixed with a tablespoon of sugar and a little oatmeal, use as a gentle facial scrub/cleanser. The oatmeal moisturises whilst reducing excess oil. Works a treat and is very inexpensive.

This sounds great, I might try it tonight, now to find a recipe for a firming facial cream that I can make myself:)
Thank you for this site Martin
The time for change has come
    Good luck for the future
  • Mine is definitely Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish. I know it's quite pricey but it seems to last me quite a long time as I don't need to use a full pump when I haven't had make-up on.
  • Another vote for LE's Cleanse and Polish!!

Another vote for Liz Earle, but being a bit Lazy, I also use Simple cleansing wipes, which are the best wipes I've found.

The best cleanser I have ever used (combination/oily) skin has to be the shu-uemura (pink) one http://www.shuuemura.co.uk/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=reviews&utm_content=brand&utm_campaign=brand&gclid=CKqHucLt9qUCFQ1O4QodOHu_ow

heaven to use, but hellish on the bank balance.

A cheaper alternative (although nothing like shu-uemura) but it removes all traces of make-up and doesnt leave the skin feeling oily or dry/tight, is the loreal age-perfect cleanser. Its often on 3 for 2 at boots/superdrug or less than half price in the supermarkets. http://www.boots.com/en/LOreal-Paris-Age-Perfect-Smoothing-Cleansing-Milk_949205/
