Food steamer - I need one!

Can anyone recommend a really good steamer? I used to have a 3 tier one but finally gave up on me (was used every night nearly for 5 years)
The only problem was it was so bulky to store
Anyone know of any compact ones or rave about their steamer?

I got mine in m&S 3 metal saucepans one solid one on bottom (can use as a normal saucepan) thwn 2 vented ones above (van use one or both) with lid. Cost £7 I think all stacks up and very handy.0

I've got a Tefal Vitamin plus which is brilliant but has unfortunately been discontinued.
When I needed to replace mine as my baskets broke, I bought exactly the same one from eBay for a fraction of the price (you always get people who don't realise their potential, even people who receive them as presents and don't even try using them!)
If that is too bulky you could always try their compact version0 -
I got a Tefal one from Argos and all the baskets stack inside each other then fit upside down over the steamer, making it very easy to store as its very compact.
I love my steamer and have used one for the past 15 years. I would love to know just how much money I have saved over the years by steaming all my veg in one go rather than have 2 or 3 saucepans on the hob boiling away.0 -
we have one of these, not small but not huge

but the 3 baskets allow for different steaming times which is great for doing fish, hard veg and soft veg0 -
I bought a microwave steamer from a garden centre. It's only one tier, but it's big enough for two people. Definitely worth the tenner that I paid!0

I've had expensive digital FIDDLY steamers (last one in the loft waiting for my car boot sale), I bought the most basic Tesco one, cost me less than £10
Bit like this but only 2 tiers

Brilliant
Its just a turn dial to set.
The baskets are stable & preformed & don't have a bottom which falls out
Plus they all fit into each other
So my recommedation, Tescos own, CHEAPEST.0 -
Have a look at this one
came out as one of which best buys and stores neatly.
