Received this today - I already have 2 pairs, one for the garden and one for going out. They are warm enough without using batteries!

I had these a few years ago. Took large batteries - C size - on the back of the wrist, not light but not unmanageable.
I didn't find the heating element accross the palm that good TBH so gave up on the gloves. More gimmic than really useful I thought.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -

Have to agree - they were in the Grattans catalogue before Xmas (£15 or three items for £30).
Ordered a pair as I go out on mobility scooter. Found they hardly heated at all - unless i was unlucky.
Sent them back and now just use ordinary suede mitts with those gel handwarmers inside - much better and cheaper.
Would like a decent pair if they worked though.
Thanks OP as some might not have heard of them.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
i got a pair and there a pain in the bum you have to take baterys out everytime you take them of0

I got a pair very cheap a few years ago but I don't use them as I find them too bulky.
I have some like this which are great and really warm and cosy. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mens-Thinsulate-Padded-Thermal-Gloves/dp/B0044AIU9K/ref=pd_sim_ap_110 -
I keep poultry and they have to be looked after whatever the weather - at below zero temperatures my hands really hurt using ordinary or work gloves. As stated, I have never needed to use the battery heating, the gloves warm my hands even if they are frozen when I put the gloves on.
I have another pair of Thinsulate gloves, but very lightweight, unpadded and made of fleecy(?) material - I much prefer the gloves in the OP.:)0 -
They come in sizes Small/Medium 6"-7"
Large 8"-9"
In the OP, they were designated as Women's or Men's.
They feel rather bulky and insensitive but are superb for keeping the hands (and fingers) warm.:)0 -
my first post and many apologies as it is probably in the wrong place!
Has anyone had problems ringing Grabitnow, I applied for a refund before Christmas for an item ordered in November which did not arrive presumably lost in transit.
I have tried to ring them so see what the position is but the phone is never picked up, emails don't seem to get much response either
Many thanks

Thanks for your reply - at least you did receive your goods, I'm £15 out of pocket as my goods did not arrive at all and I filled in and returned a claim form. I don't mind waiting for a while, but some acknowledgement of my claim would be welcome.
thanks again!
Mary
