Online DVD rental - your recommendations, please?

I just got told by a friend that there is a good DVD rental service called lovefilm.com

I didn't even know these services existed with free postage both ways. Another suggested screenselect. Before I check out these sites to see their prices and terms and variety of film, are there any that you would absolutely stick with due to great service and quality of films at good prices?

I'd love to hear, please.

MSE has a good 'Search' facility from where you can do follow-up research - Anyways, go to 'Shop but don't drop' and look for '*Free* DVD / DVD Tart' and go from there.

Personally we used the Blockbuster 30 Day trial over the Christmas period (as a family we've chosen to go without TV for this licensing period, now we just 'squabble' over the computer/'net :rolleyes: ) and found them to be quick and efficient with our 'List' being available from them +/- 85% of the time, v. prompt email updates too.

There's another site somewhere that mentions the possibility of 360? days of Free Trials - go Google the Groups.

365 days free trial?? that sounds almost too good to be true. thanks for that. best i found so far was 14 days free trial!

I'm well acquainted with the www. just didn't know about online dvd rental - too much cinema I guess.

That was 360? days of Free Trials ie being a right little taart..

I've done tons of free trials, lovefilm, screenselect, videoisland, mailbox movies, blockbuster, DVDs365. Generally found Lovefilm the best and blockbuster the worts. If you have a greasypalm account and sign up for some free trials that way you will get some cashback.

I have heard that some don't share accounts with their affiliate partners, i.e. if you sign up for trial with CD-WOW which is actually lovefilm and sign up direct with lovefilm you will get a free trial with both. Does work as I'vbe done it a few times. Hope that makes sense.
