Tesco 2p wrapping paper rolls

Options
I had to share this with you!

Tesco have some plain red wrapping paper rolls which started off at 15p a roll and 3 for2. It is just plain but would be good for wrapping large items cheaply.

Down to 7p a roll and then when at the cash desk yesterday was reduced further on the computer to 3p a roll.

Still 3 for 2 so 6p for 3 rolls!! 2p a roll.

Not sure how long mine will last as kids sword fighting with the rolls but I guess 2p for a sword is cheaper than normal ha ha!

I used this for nearly all my presents this year , I begrudge spending a fortune on wrapping paper may stock up as it could be used for birthdays too.
Check out my tree and take note of all the red paper lol !!

  • Asda also had red paper with little stars on could easily be used for birthdays aswell as xmas. originally 15p per roll marked down to 11p went through the till at 3p.

Not as cheap as tesco but just incase anyone doesnt have a tescos near them!
  • I bought this to wrap the stocking presents in and was surprised by the quality! Ill definitely be grabbing a few rolls if my tesco has any left. :)

Bought some of this yesterday too, with the intention of using it for birthdays. Bargain at 2p a roll and I bought some of the pastel coloured bows and ribbon for 32p each and 342 aswell as will give it that extra touch! Bargains!!

Not such a bargain as 2p rolls but their other rolls were reduced to 50p then 3 4 2 so 3 rolls for £1 - including 4m metalic ones and 20m (!!) rolls......now just need to find cheap huge presents to wrap !!

Just been in to Tesco and the Ben 10 Christmas wrap is shown as 50p but scans at 25p, so 50p for 3 rolls on 3 4 2
  • I bought 3 rolls for 9 pence. At the bottom of the receipt it has "Xmas wrap 3 for 2" -28p
Later, my wife bought 6 rolls. At the bottom of the receipt is has -31p

Can't figure out their pricing but they've paid us to take the wrapping paper.

A word of warning about the Christmas Wrap Multipack- the ones with four rolls of 3m x 69cm, plus bows, ribbon and tags. They're 75p each at the mo plus 342, but they are really poor quality and make it quite hard to wrap presents without the paper tearing. I had to fold it double just to keep it intact! The individual 4m wrap with holly on (red or gold) is much better quality.

The Bumper Bow and Ribbon packs (comes in gold, silver or red, and also in multi-colours) scans through at 37p at the mo, and also 3 4 2 :)

A lot of the items scan through at a lower price than the SEL, so it's worth taking a few to the price-checker machines dotted around the shop floor before going to the tills.
