Wedding Dress With Sleeves?

I'm hoping someone may have an answer for me....I'm getting married this year in April & we are having an 'informal' wedding.I am looking for a column style wedding dress (I'm 5ft 3in size 12) but cannot seem to find anything with sleeves. I don't want to wear a jacket/stole or bolero type thing, I'm just not a lover of my arms and didn't think it would be that hard to find???
It's also my 2nd time around and I'll be 41:eek:
If anyone has any ideas....thankyou very much

I hope you don't mind me jumping in on this thread but I would love some suggestions too, I have horrible acne scars on my arms so i'm dreading wearing a sleeveless dress!

  • Sorry for jumping in but maybe it will be helpful, I saw yesterday in 'Monsoon' on sale wedding dress with sleeves in Grecian style. They don't have any longer pictures for this dress on website.

all the dresses emsbet posted are lovely! I was going to suggest a lace or sheer coat or jacket over a plain dress (like the alfred angelo one). You will find many designers have them on the websites.

also dont forget a really good dressmaker can work wonders adding sleeves etc. and you could have a unique dess.

My friend had the same problem...she hates her arms and really wanted sleeves but couldn't find anything. She saw one dress she loved everything about except for the fact it was sleeveless (was strapless with option of spaghetti straps) and asked in the shop about what was available with sleeves and they altered it there so she had a slightly different neckline and 3/4 length lace sleeves added to it. Looked really lovely and just as if it had always been made that way. Some shops may either be able to alter for you or could recommend a dressmaker who could

Do you want full length sleeves, or would short sleeves, or capped sleeves be ok?

Have found this one (long sleeves, short dress) and this one or this one (long sleeves, long dress) or this one or this one or this one (short sleeves), this one (strapless and sleeved) 3/4 sleeves or this one or this one another 3/4 sleeves.

There are a couple in Jenny Packham's collection.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
