try booking through the daily mail holidays promo which starts next week you collect tokens but the codes are usually on here so no need to buy the paper then you can book on here - get a price first though to make sure it is a saving but usually if you want school hols it's much cheaper - you do need to take into account that it will be £15 per person per night, based on 4 sharing then they add on entertainment passes and linen charges - usually it ends up costing us around £80 for a family of 4. Don't want to put people off but I have been disgusted at the state of Haven caravans (have been 4 times in recent past). I had low expectations and was still disappointed. They seemed to get worse on each holiday we went on. And it's not just me: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/watchdog/2010/11/haven_holiday.html
Just didn't want anyone getting too disappointed.
(Btw - and we always paid to upgrade and stayed in Deluxe caravans!!).0 -
Sun £9.50 holidays start next week (first token available on Sat 8th).
Same as the Daily Mail promo but £9.50 pp minimum booking of 4
We go to Haven every year - we've had some lovely caravans and some shocking ones - if we go during a peak holiday period they are always worse than off-peak for some reason - and we take two dogs so never expect to be given decent lodgings

We have just come back from a 4 night holiday at the Seashore haven site.
Perhaps we were lucky, but we had a fab time.
The caravan we had was a Prestige model which was a 2 bedroom one.
The van itself was pretty new with everything inside being sound and generally clean.
After reading the watchdog article Haven it seems did regret the bad service etc. and seemed to be genuine in their statement about putting things right.
One thing for sure, we WILL definitely be going to another Haven.
Here's keeping our fingers crossed0 -
I've just booked a 3 night break using the link given a few posts up on this thread and it has brought the cost of the holiday from £142.50 to £135. Not Bad! Thank you!0

We went on a Sun holiday to Haven-Wildduck Park in Great Yarmouth. You do get what you pay for though, 60 quid for 4 days in a caravan, got a basic pool and some night time entertainment for the kids. Its not as good as Butlins but at Butlins you would pay around 600 quid for the week. Its good enough for a long weekend away with the kids though. Ive booked for another this October and will be booking next time they come out in the spring.0
