Well done sheils, thats brilliant! :T I did try again myself earlier, even by texting my bank receipt but still not lucky! Maybe I might be luckier on the 20 prize draws they are doing!

I went to town earlier to get DS's birthday presents and my DH phoned me all excited saying a big parcel arrived. I forgot I ordered a Sam doll off amazon to put away for dd's next birthday Then later I entered a comp to win £1,000 with my local paper...they phone you between 8 & 9 if you've won. My mobile started ringing at 8 o'clock....it was 3moblie network I wish they wouldnt torment me!

With The Gazette? Same thing happened with me last year, it said in the paper they come round straight away if you win for a photo so I made sure I was showered & hair dried before 8 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: then just after 8 my mobile rang and it was my Mum!! :eek::eek::eek: How rude! :rotfl::rotfl: xx

it's frustrating isn't it when you're sat there watching the phone willing it to ring then someone phones when you dont want them to!

Well done sheils! :T When someone posted on here that loads of prizes were being given away I tried constantly for an hour and got nothing!!! DH even played for a bit on his laptop too. I can't understand how some people were getting about 60 wins in a row and others nothing at all! :huh:

I'd seen that Radox book giveaway yesterday on the freebies board Katie so logged on at home this morning before work to apply for it as I missed out on last month's!

I'd better get back to work, will try to catch up on comps in quiet moments.

Thanks for lovely pics korky & thanks for the book katie - I've never seen that one before.

Sorry you didn't win Lily - no idea how that comp worked. If you happened to get the right time of day it could be really good but that only happened to me twice. Think some peeps must have far quicker laptops & connections than me but won plenty anyway. I kept telling everyone about the comp and disappointed more peeps didn't win.

Heres to February anyway - hope we all win some lovely things!
