I learnt French at school but I don't remember much of it now! I tried some of it out as a teenager when I was on holiday in France and they just spoke English back to me! :mad::rotfl:

Its a lovely day here so have been for a long walk in the country, hung the washing out and done a big shop! Wonder what I will do now????

Hope your dd doesn't get a bad cold Molly. Make the most of her being cheerful it will seem no time till she is a moody teenager!

Well done vw. Wondered when they would be given away.

DHs 90 year old aunt emailed me these today :-

Two fish swim into a concrete wall. One turns to the other and says "Dam!"


A sign on the lawn at a drug rehab centre said "Keep off the Grass"

Managed to get some coursework done yesterday so it's comping day today! Still no word on the comping fairy....hope she comes back from her travels soon.

Well done on the no smoking Edd, keep it up you're doing brill :T I wish my mum would give up as she has asthma & copd now. Think I'll buy her loads of carrots as korky suggested to munch on

Sheils, tell your DH's 90 yr old aunt she can pop in the Inn anytime to cheer us all up!

VW, well done on the French book :j We do French in our nursery too, kids find it really strange!

Keep meaning to ask you how you got on with booking your holiday. Did they let you add another child without any bother or too much cost? Forgotton which Greek Island it was now.
