wow im moved to tears here
in a good way though
remember the mars promotion last year when they were giving away footballs?? Well i won quite a few and i also had people donate them to me for one of my daughters teachers, her and her husband were PE teachers, hubby retired then had a heart attack 2 weeks later and died, anyway, they sponsor a childrens home in Africa, and this is where the Mars balls come in.
We donated about 50 all together and with the teacher living close me and dd used to take the balls round to her house, shes just came round with a handmade necklace, a letter from the children at the home and some photos,
The balls were taken over to the children for Christmas and every child had one in the home, this was their only present that they received that Christmas, ive got a couple of photos which i'll add to facebook of the children playing with the balls, just wanted to share this story with you in the inn as the power of mse has moved me to tears and normally im a hard-nut to crack0 -

Jean, I love the cake! I showed OH it and he asked me which part of the cake I would like to have first. I told him I would have to give it a vasectomy first!
Anyone know where my comping fairy is? Hope no ones kidnapped her!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

I love making cakes though mine are not as good as shop bought ones. I made the female version of this last January for DS. He was on his R+R from Afghanistan and we threw him a belated New Years party before he went back. I can't post that one as the only decent photo I have of it he was being indecent with a spring roll. I also very proudly made other DS and DiL's wedding cake last year.
I think your comping fairy is hanging out with mine somewhere nice and sunny with lots of free booze.£2021 in 2021 no.17 £1,093.20/£20210
