    quick help needed

re: my win of a Gore running jacket yesterday at £149
ive had an email saying the item is out of stock & i had to choose 'an item of equivalent value'

i wasnt fussed anyway & said i would maybe take a few items, i.e. running top / running trousers.
    she just wrote back
    no
you have to pick a singular similar item?
i said well all the jackets are either cheaper or dearer
what are my rights anyone know?
i dont want less than the £150, what should i say please lol
    thanks

You could maybe go back to her and say that it isn't your fault that the item isn't in stock and that there isn't another singular jacket to the specified value of the prize that you would like.

If they actually stated that the prize was this particular jacket costing £150 I can't really see there being a problem if you were to choose a couple of items to this amount.

    Good luck
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

I'm sitting at my desk at work and have realised i really can't be bothered today! I want my bed and to swap my healthy breakfast for the Dr. Pepper i know is sitting in my desk drawer :p
Got to keep plodding on though as i'm the only one on the editing desk all week.

I had a nice little surprise of Toy Story 3 blue ray waiting for me on my mat last night. I haven't seen it so i cant wait to watch it.

Have a good day everyone!!! xxxx

    Morning,

Hope everyone is well today. We had a lovely day yesterday - even got the washing dry outside but it looks dull today. OH says it is going to brighten up for a while later. Hope to get a walk in the country anyway.

Well done Becki - Toy Story 3 is great. Took kids to cinema to see it when it first came out. (sometimes its handy having kids!)

I had porridge for a change today too korky. OH has that everyday in the winter and he isn't even Scottish! (Liverpool)

    Have a great day everyone.

  • Morning all.
beckifitzg - nice win :T. I haven't seen it myself, but have heard it's an excellent film. I know what you mean about being fed up with healthy breakfasts, I am only at day 3 of my diet and I am already craving a bacon sandwich!
Although, all this talk of porridge has got me wanting some now!

I don't have much planned for today, apart from the usual clothes washing and ordering some groceries for friday. Hopefully DH will be able to come home early tonight as he was in London yesterday and didn't get back till late :(. He hates not seeing our daughter as she is in bed by the time he gets home, so I am making him a special Dinner tonight to cheer him up. :D

    Have a lucky day everyone...x

they have given me a list with 10 alternatives & say thats the only stock they have in my size
