Weather isn't looking too bad here sun is trying

I've just remebered it's free listing on ebay this weekend so I'm sat putting LO's old clothes on, it's so boring and takes so long but better to get rid of them and free up some space then not make use of it being free to put on

Love your kitten pic lily! Hope you have a successful day at the shops. I'm afraid most of my clothes are looking a bit tired - can never seem to find what I want. When I go shopping somewhere different DH & kids are usually there so never seem to have time. Hope your stepgrandma's results are ok. It is a worry when you don't live near ill relatives.

Thanks Sheils. :) Hopefully my folks will get the latest news tomorrow.

Yes I got a few things this morning, not as much as I'd like but I struggle to find things which fit well as I'm a bit of a curvier lady! :o I got a denim skirt and some cropped jeans (wishful thinking that better weather is on the way! ;) :rotfl:) Also got a blazer in a jersey material if you see what I mean and a dress.

Saw some lovely bags in Primark. :D Had to drag myself away as I have loads of bags! :o

Really need some new tops, I quite like supermarket clothes so might pop to Asda some time soon, they have some nice stuff in there and reasonably priced. :)

Jane - hope you get some good prices for your ebay sales! :) I sent a load of old DVDs to Music Magpie recently and got the cheque from them this morning.

You seem to have done well Lily. When I see something I really like I quite often buy it in more than 1 colour :o Don't buy much in M&S but they do one T-shirt style I really like and last year I bought at least 6 of them! I have 4 pairs of shorts all the same in different colours too. Would have done the same with jerseys I got in Peacocks but they had sold out when I went back to get the third. Really must be more adventurous.

I think that's a good idea! I did that in one top from Asda a while ago - got three colours of it! My friend at work has got the same top in a couple of different colours too! :rotfl:

I did try on a black version of the cropped jeans I got today but the material was slightly different and they didn't look as nice.

Oh I forgot about Peacocks! That's down the other end of town so I always seem to forget to go there! :wall:

There's a Matalan near my work, but I find that's a bit hit and miss.
  • Just been to Asda to look at their clothes. Had a bit of a panic in there (supermarkets sometimes have that effect on me :o), set off the alarm on the way out  and got drenched running to the car :rotfl: Glad to be home with a cuppa and going to start on some comps. :) Did manage to buy a top and a scarf. Wasn't much in there that caught my eye today. When I'm broke you can bet they'll be loads of nice stuff in there!:rotfl:

    :hello: Everyone,

well I spoke too soon this morning re Krave, now cant have the Milk Chocolate one at all :( as my eye hurt and then my mouth tingled.

I had an early lunch which was lovely and then I watched Superman The Movie on Channel 5 :).I then went out to get some Mcvities Digestives and some coffee and a savings stamp.I went to put in my code on the mcvities Vip Club website to find a message saying this code has been used.I wasnt happy but a very kind friend gave me her code and I got 5 points, got to hear back on Monday or Tuesday from mcvities re my code on my pack of biscuits.

    Have a nice evening!

Sorry you can't eat the Krave cereal Katie - I think a lot of these cereals are all made in the same factory so can come into contact with nuts even if they don't have nuts in them :(
