Hi fibe, I only enter for ones I know will be suitable for myself or someone I know. Often peeps on here might give someone else an unwanted prize too but I dont think anyone would sell them on here (against rules probably). There is also a link in IWIWIW where you can post unwanted prizes to Postpals (for poorly kiddies). Good luck winning :)

Everyone excelling themselves with the pics today. Wish it was nice sunny summer ones we were looking for!
Not getting on today as usually I am up about 6.30 doing the dailies but slept in so way behind and can't get motivated. Kids back to school tomorrow so will get back to normal then.

Might try the cereal with yoghurt for a change when I open the next packet korky.

Has everyone managed to get their free samle of Krave cereal on FB? Think they are being a bit mean just giving a 30g sample or maybe I am just greedy! I won't like it anyway but kids will. Won some in DH & my name so hopefully they will get pkt each.

    Hi Fibe,
I only enter for prizes I want too but sometimes I would like the runner up prizes instead of the main one or vice versa. Never sure whether to enter holiday comps for a couple in the hope that I can add kids on and pay for them - things like that. Did once win a holiday for two and luckily they gave me cash instead. (think it was in their t&cs)

I've not tried for that giveway yet sheils. I think the kids might fight over who gets it! :D

It's starting to brighten up here, kids are glued to Tracy Beaker on tv so might be able to get something else done!

  • Good morning all, :)

fibe - I too only enter for things either my family or I would like. I have sisters who are starting families and setting up home for the first time though, so most home or baby prizes would be welcomed by them. I never enter gig/theatre tickets, farm/horsey prizes, cat stuff or foreign holidays (Apart from eurodisney!)

But I have had a couple of small runners up prizes in the past that I haven't been able to find homes for, so they have been donated to charity, donated as raffle prizes for local causes or put on ebay.

I entered hundreds of comps yesterday, so hopefully my luck will start to turn soon. Really looking forward to going to the Outdoors show on friday that I won tickets for. In-laws are coming along too, so its going to be a family day out :D.

    Have a lucky day,

Been sitting filling out passport renewall forms for kids and DH filling out his. You wonder how often they need the same info for the kids. Just realised they need DD's signature this time and she is away out for the day. Don't suppose another day will matter. They cost £77.50 for an adults one and £49 for a kids (which only lasts 5 years). Really annoys me they are so expensive. Once upon a time you just needed one for the whole family!
It cost £6 each for the photos too.

I know what you mean, we had DDs passport done last year when she was 8 months as we went to France when she was 11 months old. She looks completely different now and TBH it could be any baby in the picture. Its madness to think that will be her passport for the next few years!

Just as I put DD down for her nap, the Window cleaner turned up so dog is going potty barking at him, oh joy! Its a new guy and he is spending AGES on each window too.
