Back to more serious matters, have also been playing on this early retirement calculator HERE. Takes a bit of fiddling around with but basically runs your figures against the past 100 years or so to determine how many times you'd have ran out of money in retirement. Lots of options to vary returns etc on the right and you can change to the Monte Carlo method which is more random than going back over previous years. Gratified to see in most scenarios I'll be ok 100% of the time :T.
