  • Onesies are so warm, due to the extreme synthetics of the material, that if all you mfw people tried one, you would never take it off in the winter so that you could save on the heating. I speak from experience, but it doesn't work unless all the family join in and oh wasn't having any of it....

Brilliant progress gg. Sub 100k is a real milestone.

Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Ahh - we all have faith in you that you'll do it, GG! :)

And I'll rock up to the party - but not in a onesie! :D:D

Had a very strange dream last night - dreamt I moved house and hadn't made any lists so nothing was organised and I couldn't find anything . Had forgotten to tell people I was moving, texted Tilly and the next thing her & Mr T rocked up and I was still in my PJ's :o. The house is supposed to be a metaphor for the Self, but I think it was just literally about my house being a mess and being afraid of being caught out (people have the strange idea I am tidy and organised :rotfl:). I think the moving bit was simply because I've spent too long on RightMove recently, for btl and also DS.

    So today I have:
    • Defrosted fridge freezer
    • Weeded garden and planted 2 plants bought yesterday at village fete in lieu of the home made cakes I went to buy but daren't as SW had a stall there :o
    • Photographed a load of stuff to go on ebay at end of Sept/early Oct
    • Tidied out & swept garage & fixed dodgy shelf
    • Brought in paint to touch up study
    • And, most exciting of all, brought in my tool box and little one with handle I carry about. They are about to be emptied onto carpet and sorted :D. I may even treat myself to a new one :rotfl:.

  • Sounds like a busy day, well done GG.

BTW, 'onesies' = UGH! Personally I'd rather freeze than wear a 'onesie' or romper suit to call it what it is!

Well, the consensus seems to be no to onesies. Obviously a classier lot reading the diary now than last time :D. So, if the party does go ahead it will be white tie and tails :T.

Hmm - I have a fluffy white tail and a black bow tie if that's an acceptable (if not exactly classy!!:D) alternative??? (complete with the bunny ears and faux cuffs......:o:o)
